Olympian – Freestyle Mogul Skiing
When Alexandre Bilodeau flew down the moguls for his last race at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic games, he made his mark in the world of skiing. When he became the first Canadian to win a gold medal on home soil, he instantly touched the heart of an entire nation. From coast to coast this lifted spirits with passion and pride.
Long before he wore the gold medal around his neck, he learnt that determination and courage were essential not only to win at the Olympic games but in life. His Brother Frederic, who suffers from cerebral palsy, had been the inspiration of this valuable lesson.
